“I grew up in the restaurant and food business (opened the first Max & Erma’s in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 22). Because I have been an active investor in many types of consumer oriented companies, I understand and appreciate what it takes to grow them. That said, my greatest passion is “the art of the deal”. Whether it’s a buy or sell side transaction or a capital raise for a company or real estate project, I get genuinely excited about structuring a deal that makes sense for the client and getting it closed for them. I believe that my long time experience as a lawyer and investment banker helps in that process.”
Previously Ross Pascal was the Founding Partner of A2 Capital Partners LLP an investment and advisory firm to early stage companies in a variety of business/service sectors including consumer, technology, social media, life sciences and real estate. Prior to this, Ross was a co-founder of BW Realty Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm with offices in Boston and Washington DC which developed a unique real estate structure and specialized in advising and raising capital for large commercial real estate projects, including the $800 million financing of a federal agency’s new headquarters, advising a Native American tribe on building a new casino in a major US city, and advising two major league baseball teams on the financing of their new stadiums.
Before founding BW Realty Advisors, Ross was a senior corporate finance and real estate partner at Dechert LLP, a 1,000 attorney firm. At Dechert and at prior law firms, Ross concentrated on corporate mergers and acquisitions and on structuring, negotiating and closing large commercial real estate transactions for Fortune 100 corporations and capital markets companies in the US, Europe and the Far East.
Ross earned his JD with honors from Northwestern University School of Law and his BA cum laude from the University of Michigan.
