Daniel C. Wright is a senior executive with proven success leading finance, operations and development efforts at hospitality and real estate development firms.
Dan was the CFO for Pyramid Hotel Group (PHG) a privately held investment firm that acquires, repositions and manages hospitality real estate assets. At its peak, PHG managed an investment portfolio valued at over $8 billion with more than $550 million in annual revenues, 48 properties under management and over 7,000 employees. At PHG, Dan oversaw the growth of three investment funds from 14 properties with $700 million asset value in 2005 to 45 properties with $8 billion in asset value in 2008. As CFO of Leggat McCall Retirement Properties, Dan negotiated and administered capital requirements for over $100 million of real estate development, including equity, construction finance, mezzanine debt and permanent mortgages. Previously, Dan spent nearly 14 years with ITT Sheraton Corporation, beginning as head of the audit department. He held increasingly senior positions, including division controller, director of strategic projects and planning and director of corporate development.
Dan is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney (admitted to the Massachusetts Bar Association). He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs and is a board member of the Walker Home and School, a non-profit facility for troubled children. He received a BSBA from Babson College and holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
